Own and execute technical solutions for the creation of new services. This includes design, build, support requirements. These services will relate to fixed networks (Carrier Ethernet over hybrid wireless [access] and fibre (backhaul and core) and associated applications (data, voice and video).

Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the core network architecture. The Network engineering team will be responsible for translating the needs of targeted clients into functional specifications that the network must support. They will ‘sign off’ on any core network changes as they pertain to service continuity and assurance.

Provide an input to training and education programs for sales and technical staff as to value propositions of services and general service management aspects.

Provide necessary information for the weekly, monthly, and quarterly management meetings to achieve process KPI and functional performance.

Provide Level 2/3 escalation support for the NOC team during critical network faults

Help evolve our technology stack to industry best practice

1) Network engineer, escalation support, IP Networks, IT systems, SR 7750, SAS 7210, SAM 5620, SDN, NFV, WLAN, UMTS, Routing, Switching, CISCO, CCIE, NRS II, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, Alcatel, Nokia, CISCO

2) CCIE/CCNA/CCNP/NRS certification in Routing & Switching

3) L2 or L3 experienced candidates are eligible for this role.
