Job brief:

We are seeking a trustworthy Finance Manager, who works efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. You can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong analytical and verbal and written communication skills.


To ensure success, the Finance Manager should be available before working hours, honest detail-oriented, professional, and analytical. Top candidates will have excellent presentation skills with the ability to successfully communicate complex quantitative data to decision-makers.

Finance Manager/Accounting Manager

What you'll do:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
  • Monthly payroll processing
  • Reconciliation of employee salary and PF information with (Payroll vendors) and EPFO.
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Cash receipts
  • General ledger
  • Filing of GST and TDS
  • Treasury & budgeting
  • Cash forecasting
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • Capital assets reconciliations
  • Check runs
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Provide recommendations
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Develop initiatives to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions


P.S: Candidate will also work with the US accounts team and CFO. Candidate must be willing to travel to the United States twice a year. Knowledge in US accounting is a plus but not required.


Qualification and experience required:

  • 5-6 years of work experience as an Accountant
  • 2-4 years of work experience as Finance Manager/Accounting Manager.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA or Equivalent) is a plus
  • Exposure to payroll software like ADP
  • Experience in working with start-ups.
  • Willing to Travel to the United States and work with the US accounting teams & CFO.
